Martine van Santen is the artistic director of the company. In 2004, she graduated with a BA Hons Degree from the Northern school of Contemporary dance in Leeds, United Kingdom. She followed the training Bachelor of Performing Arts with specializations in Movement Study and Choreography. She also trained at the Martha Graham School in New York.

Martine danced among other things in choreographies of Laurent Cavanna, Jamie Watton and Tom Roden. She made the choreographies, `The Decision is Yours at the NSCD (2004), 'Het Wonder van de Ontmoeting' for Alkmaars Meer Festival (2005), 'In Between' for the Edinburgh Festival (2005), 'Eb en Vloed' for Noord Holland Danst (2005), 'Was ik Maar…' for Provadja Danst (2005), 'Closure' for DWP Haarlem (2006), 'The Eyes' for Dansgroep Haarlem (2006), 'Grenzen' Boundaries don't keep other people outside, the fence you in! for Dansgroep Haarlem (2007 – 2008).

Besides her choreographic work for PicturePerfect, Martine also works as a photographer. In October 2008 she started working for New English Contemporary Ballet, where she is responsible for European development. She also works with Jamie Thomson on developing choreographic opportunities for students of the New English Contemporary Ballet School and will choreograph a piece for NECB School/Nottingham Youth Dance in 2009.

Gabriela Carrera

Gabriela Carrera followed her training at the University of the Americas Puebla, Mexico and the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Amsterdam. She danced in choreographies of Gerardo Delgado, Sunny Savoy, Charlotte Boye Christensen, John Mead and Pedro Beiro. Made choreographies for DWP Haarlem and is linked as a teacher to Danshuis Haarlem.






Gwen Albers

Gwen Albers followed her training at the National Ballet Academy, Amsterdam. She danced at the National Ballet in repertoire of Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Ted Brandsen, Krysztof Pastor, Rudi van Dantzig, Japcopo Godani, Bruno Listopad and many others. As freelancer she danced in the choreography, ‘Stop Motion’ from Pieter de Ruiter.






Karin Eij

Karin Eij followed her training at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Arnhem. She got her flamenco training from Harriët IJssel the inventor Kika and Vida Peral. She stayed long periods of time in Spain and followed lessons with Andrés Marín, Eva la Yerbabuena en Israel Galván. She was part of several groups among which Azules in the performance Soledad, danced in `women of Troje theatre group the Apple and in the choreography ¿ Que pasa? o.l.v. Kika.

Nicole Rust followed her training at the Teacher department the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Amsterdam. She danced in choreographies from Marijke Eliasberg, Ron Bunzl and Elke Klein Goldewijk. As a teacher she is linked to Danshuis Haarlem.
